About the ADA Complementary Paratransit
ADA Complementary Paratransit is Hernando County's complementary ADA service for residents who are unable to access the fixed route transit system due to a disability. The service assists riders whose origins and destinations are within ¾ mile of a fixed-route system. A certification process is in place to determine if a person has the ability to use the regular bus.
Eligibility & How to Apply
To use ADA Complementary Paratransit, riders must be ADA eligible.
Applications can be obtained by:

- Visiting the Transit Operations Office at 700 Aeriform Dr., Brooksville, FL 34601
Once submitted, your application will be evaluated to determine eligibility. Eligible applicants will receive a written notification, an ADA Eligibility Photo Identification Card, and an information packet. Eligibility is recertified every three (3) years. Applicants who are deemed ineligible have sixty (60) days to appeal the decision.
