All county-owned properties are located on Hernando County Property Appraisers page. Housing and Supportive Services regularly reviews all County-owned properties with Property Management for potential surplus properties suitable for affordable housing.

Florida Statues, Sec 125.379, requires each county to prepare an inventory list every three years of all county-owned lands within its jurisdiction that is appropriate for use as affordable housing.  The list is then reviewed and adopted by resolution at a public hearing.
