Interim Solid Waste Assessment Ordinance
The Interim Solid Waste Assessment Ordinance (#99-17) became effective September 1, 1999. The ordinance establishes the solid waste assessment is due and payable on all new residential units for the interim between construction, completion and placement of the assessment on the property tax bill.
The assessment will be prorated and the amount depends upon the month the certificate of occupancy is issued.
Invoices
The MSBU Solid Waste Assessment invoices are issued for a pro-rated amount for all new construction homes completed after the issuance of the annual tax bills.
