NOTICE
PPR Services Change Effective 10/1/2026
Starting October 1, 2026, ICI/Sjur Solutions/VIP will no longer accept new Private Provider Review (PPR) contracts
in Hernando County. Existing PPR contracts will be completed as agreed.
VIP inspection services are unaffected and remain available through the Building Department.
Permit Application Status and Property Search
New Permit Application Status Tool (As of 03/03/2026)
Use the "Permit Application Status and Property Search Portal" link above to access current permit information and property records.
Through this online portal, citizens and contractors can:
- View current permit statuses
- Search and review property history (by owner’s name, address, key number, or parcel IDs.
- View contractor information (by name, business, or license number)
Legacy Permit Application Status Tool
The Legacy Permit Application Status tool can be used to view permits and related documents submitted prior to 3/3/26.
