Payment Options:
This will allow you to:
- Enroll in Automatic Bill Payment (EFT) with a checking or savings account – no additional fees
- Enroll in AutoPay with a credit or debit card – additional fees
- Enroll in Pay by Text – additional fees
- One-time online payment using InvoiceCloud – additional fees
- Drive-thru payment drop box, located at 15365 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, FL 34613 – no additional fee
- Payment centers throughout the area; Visit hernandocounty.us | departments | utilities to locate
- Pay by Phone. 352-754-4037, option #3 then option #2; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – additional fees
Customers may set up payments through their bank, if their bank offers “pay bill” services or a 3rd party vendor, When setting up payment, please ensure you schedule your payment appropriately to arrive at HCUD prior to the due date to avoid additional fees and/or disconnection of service. If you are experiencing delays with your payment reaching HCUD please contact your bank or your 3rd party vendor directly. Payments are processed and applied once they reach our office.
Important Information About Online Payments
- Payments made before midnight should post to your account the following business day
- Payments made after midnight, weekend and/or holidays can take up to 72 hours to post to your account
- The online payment validation only confirms your transaction with the payment system. Services can only be restored once the payment has posted to your account.
- Creating a future payment on Invoice Cloud does not create a payment arrangement for past due balances
- For questions regarding water usage, bill amount, final water reading, contact the HCUD Customer Service team at (352) 754-4037, option #6 | #1
Disconnection Policy for Non-Payment
- Utility bills become past due 21 days after the statement date
- Delinquent charges apply if service is scheduled for interruption
- Failure to receive a bill does not prevent service interruption or additional service charges
- Creating a future payment on Invoice Cloud does not create a payment arrangement for past due balances
- Service is subject to disconnection for failure to pay the past due balance in full
- All past due charges and fees are required be paid in full to reconnect service
- Disconnection may result in an additional deposit being required

- Overtime charges apply to ANY service after 3:30 pm, weekends and holidays

- Past due balances are represented on monthly statements, if necessary, and are due immediately
- Customers also receive a courtesy robo call prior to disconnection to the phone number on their account (It is the customers responsibility to ensure HCUD has updated information)
- Prohibiting access to HCUD meters can result in further charges
