Public Participation Plan

The PPP defines a process for providing interested parties reasonable opportunities to review and comment on MPO plans and work products. The MPO makes every effort to make plans and programs easy to understand by the public.

MPO Volunteer Application

Volunteer Application

Volunteers help provide input on transportation planning issues—such as bicycle and pedestrian safety, public transit, and services for transportation-disadvantaged residents—by serving on boards like the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC), or the Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Boards (TDLCB/LCB).

Residents of Hernando or Citrus County who want to volunteer on one of the Hernando/Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization’s advisory boards or committees, can fill out the application below:

Title VI and Nondiscrimination Program

The Hernando/Citrus MPO is committed to ensuring that all individuals have equal access to its programs, services, and activities. In compliance with federal and state civil rights laws—including Title VI, the ADA, and Environmental Justice requirements—the MPO prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, income, religion, or family status.

The MPO also provides guidance for individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) to guarantee meaningful access to essential transportation planning services. The downloadable documents in this section outline these nondiscrimination policies and the MPO’s responsibilities in upholding them.
