TheBus department provides safe, reliable bus transportation for the community. They help people get where they need to go while keeping routes easy to use and accessible for everyone.

Fire Rescue

The Fire Rescue team helps keep people safe by quickly responding to fires, accidents, and emergencies. They also teach the community how to prevent dangers and stay prepared.

Parking Passes

Parking passes let people park in designated areas without worry. They make it easy to access buildings and events by ensuring you always have a spot.

Coffee with the County is a podcast where local leaders share updates and talk about what’s happening in the community. It’s an easy way for residents to stay informed while enjoying a casual, friendly conversation.

    2026 Florida-Friendly Landscaping Workshop 5:00 PM
    Join us at The Lake House for a Florida-Friendly extravaganza! The 2026 FFL workshop will include a variety of speakers speaking on topics including gardening for pollinators, native plants, and using trees in your landscape.
     
    Refreshments provided!
     
    The first 50 people to arrive will receive a FREE native tree to take home and put FFL into practice.
     
    Attendance at this event is $10, payable by check or money order only. HCUD customers who attend will receive $10 back on their water bill for attending.
     
    Checks can be dropped off or mailed to our main office at 15365 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34613. If you plan to mail your check in, you must write on the envelope "ATTN: FFL Workshop"
