(Brooksville, FL) - The Hernando County Department of Public Works will host a free Touch-A-Truck community event on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Hernando County Department of Public Works, located at 1525 E Jefferson St, Brooksville, FL 34601.

Residents of all ages are invited to attend and get an up-close look at Hernando County’s fleet of Public Works vehicles while learning about the services that help maintain the county’s infrastructure. Vehicles on display will include the camera truck, mini excavator, vac truck, roller, and many more.

Public Works staff will be available to answer questions and provide information on stormwater management, road maintenance, transit services, and other county operations. Community members are encouraged to stop by and enjoy an engaging and educational day.
