MPO Notice: Notice of Public Meeting for the Hernando-Citrus MPO Board on September 3, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando-Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board will conduct a public meeting on Thursday, September 3, 2026, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Brooksville City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida.  Items on the agenda include, but are not limited to:

• Review and Approval of June 4, 2026, Meeting Minutes
• Approval of Member and Alternate Member to the MPO Board for Hernando County
• Review and Approval of the Proposed 2027 Meeting Schedule for the Hernando-Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board and Committees
• Review and Approval of Revision 1 of the FY 2027-FY 2028 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) to Amend Task 7 (Suncoast Transportation Planning Alliance Support and Shared Task)
• Review and Approval of the Annual Roll-Forward Amendment to the FY2027-FY2031 Transportation Improvement Program
• Reappointment of Member to the Hernando-Citrus MPO’s Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)
• Appointment of Member to the Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)

Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, Section 286.0105 F.S.
