MPO Notice: Notice of Public Meeting for the Hernando-Citrus MPO Board on May 7, 2026, at 1:30 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hernando-Citrus Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board will conduct a public meeting on Thursday, May 7, 2026, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Brooksville City Hall Council Chambers, 201 Howell Avenue, Brooksville, Florida.  Items on the agenda include, but are not limited to:

• Review and Approval of February 5, 2026, Meeting Minutes
• Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Hernando/Citrus MPO Annual Certification Summary and Joint Certification Statement
• Approval of Resolutions 2026-2 and 2026-3, and Authorization for MPO Executive Director to Execute Fiscal Year 2027 Grant Award Agreements for Citrus and Hernando Counties from the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged
• Review and Adoption of the FY2027-FY2028 Unified Work Program (UPWP)
• Discussion of the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) 
• Presentation by the Center for Urban Transportation Research (CUTR) on the Annual Update for the Hernando County FY2025-FY2034 Transit Development Plan (TDP)

Any person who decides to appeal any decision made by the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) Board with regard to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, said person will need a record of the proceeding, and that, for such purpose, said person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based, Section 286.0105 F.S.
