Hernando County Tax Collector: Office Closure on Monday, October 12th, 2026
(Brooksville, FL) – Monday, October 12th, 2026 the Hernando County Tax Collector Office will be closed to allow for our Annual Staff Development Day.
Residents can place their motor vehicle renewal with postage or property tax payment in the DROP BOX located next to the single west door at the Spring Hill Branch Office. For ONLINE PAYMENTS, visit: www.hernandotax.us
A Motor Vehicle Kiosk is located inside the Publix at the Shoppes at Avalon (13455 County Line Rd, Spring Hill, FL 34609) for the renewal of most motor vehicle registrations.
Our offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026.
