Hernando County Housing and Supportive Services Announces Requests for Application for LSF Health System Florida Statewide Response for Opioid Abatement Funds
Housing & Supportive Services (HSS) is announcing that applications are being accepted for 2026 LSF Health System Florida Statewide Response for Opioid Abuse Funds on behalf of Hernando County beginning March 20, 2026, until April 20, 2026, at 5:00pm.
Applications will be available online at www.hernandocounty.us/living-here/housingsupportive-services/grants or at Hernando Housing and Supportive Services, 621 West Jefferson Street, Brooksville, FL 34601.
Completed applications must be submitted online to the following email: HousingandSupportiveServices@hernandocounty.us.
As a non-qualified county per Florida Opioid Allocation and Statement Response Agreement Between the State of Florida Department of Legal Affairs, Office of the Attorney General, and Certain Local governments in the State of Florida, Regional Opioid Settlement Funds have been allocated through the Managing entity, LSF Health Systems to utilize funding funds on Approved Purposes and Core Strategies to address the opioid crisis.
The grant amount may be divided among multiple selected applicants or granted to only one applicant. The county at its sole discretion reserves the right to set each award amount based on the project, funding, and cost feasibility. Partial awards may be offered depending on funding availability.
