(Brooksville, FL) – Hernando County will host a sign unveiling ceremony on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., to commemorate the designation of a portion of California Street as the Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway.

The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) voted and approved the memorial designation during a regular BOCC meeting on October 14, 2025, in recognition of Charlie Kirk’s memory and positive influence.

The ceremony will take place at the sign’s location at the corner of California Street and Powell Road. Parking will be available at Chocachatti Elementary School, located at 4135 California St., Spring Hill, FL 34604.
