NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a regular meeting of the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners has been scheduled to be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, beginning at 9:00 A.M., located at the Hernando County Government Center, 20 North Main Street, Room 160, Brooksville, FL 34601.

If a person decides to appeal any quasi-judicial decision made by the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter considered at such hearing or meeting, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

Furthermore, in accordance with Florida Statute 50.0311, Hernando County will be using a publicly accessible website to publish certain legally required advertisements and public notices starting January 2026.  Property owners and residents may also choose to receive these legally required advertisements and public notices from the County by first-class mail or email upon registering their names and addresses or email addresses with the County.  The County shall maintain a registry of names, addresses, and email addresses of property owners and residents who have requested in writing that they receive legally required advertisements and public notices by first-class mail or email starting January 2026.
