What We Do
Risk Management focuses on identifying potential risks and developing strategies to reduce or prevent them. Our key areas of responsibility include:
- Risk Identification & Analysis – Evaluating potential risks and implementing programs to reduce loss.
- Department Consultation – Providing guidance and support to departments on effective risk management practices.
- Safety Culture – Embedding safety standards and best practices throughout County operations.
- Insurance Review – Reviewing insurance requirements for contracts, agreements, and facility use.
- Program Administration – Managing the County’s liability, property, professional, and special events insurance programs.
- Claims Administration – Overseeing and coordinating claims to ensure fair and timely resolution.
