Important Information About Online Payments

  • Please contact Customer Service if your account is delinquent
  • Payments made before midnight will be posted to your account the following business day
  • Payments made after midnight, weekend and/or holidays could take up to 72 hours to posted to your account
  • The on-line payment validation only confirms your transaction with the payment system and does not replace or serve as a substitute for services to be restored
  • Water Service and Billing Inquires
  • For questions regarding water usage, bill amount, final water reading or delinquent accounts, call the Hernando County Utilities Department Customer Service Division at (352) 754-4037

Payment and Disconnect Policy

  • Utility bills become past due 20 days after the billing date
  • Failure to receive a bill does not prevent service interruption or additional service charges
  • Service may be disconnected for failure to pay the past due balance in full in a timely manner
  • To restore service, all past due charges and fees, must be paid in full
  • Disconnection may result in an additional deposit being required
  • Contact HCUD Collections staff for any questions about past due amounts
