Curbside Recycling

Hernando County citizens with trash service also have weekly curbside recycling collection included in their service. Curbside recycling is collected with a two bin system where residents sort cardboard and paper in one bin and plastics #1-7, aluminum and tin in a second bin. Please note that our curbside program does not include glass.

If you currently subscribe to curbside trash service through Republic Services, once per week curbside Recycling is included in your service ;at no additional cost.;

Sign up for Recycling

On your pickup day, place all of your paper and cardboard in one container and aluminum, tin, and plastics in the second container. Place the containers curbside before 6 a.m. on your service day.

Curbside recycling is a great opportunity to help yourself, your community and the environment.
