Hispanic Heritage Festival next weekend; volunteers needed
Hernando County Parks and Recreation announces that the Hispanic Heritage Festival will be held on September 21, 2019 from 2 – 10 p.m. at the Lake House located at 1202 Kenlake Avenue in Spring Hill. This event will feature live music, food, commercial and craft vendors, beer and wine, a kids’ zone and the crowning of Miss Hispanic Queen of Hernando County 2019.
Admission for this event is free. Parking will be $5 per vehicle. Residents are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets. No coolers, tents, umbrellas or outside food will be permitted.
Volunteers are needed to assist with beer pouring and ticket sales for the following shifts:
- 1:30 – 6 p.m.
- 5:30 – 10 p.m.
