Hernando County Landfill - GRAND OPENING - OPEN HOUSE 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM  - August 11, 2010

On June 29, 2010 the Southwest Florida Water Management District’s Governing Board voted to let the modified Phase II water shortage restrictions expire on June 30, 2010. Effective July 1, 2010, Hernando County Utilities Department lifted the Emergency Block Rates imposed on the four (4) top watering tiers.

Local Merchants Provide Payment Locations for Hernando County Utilities Department

Customer Service has maintained two walk in payment locations, namely Kass Circle in Spring Hill and the Utilities Department Administration building on Cortez Blvd, near downtown Brooksville. In light of declining water and sewer revenue, cost reductions are necessary.
