On-line payment services are provided through Point and Pay, Inc. This enables the Hernando County Tax Collector's Office to accept payments for your obligations by credit cards and debit cards via a secured Internet system. This system has been in use since February 2000 in many government agencies throughout Florida. Point and Pay, Inc., has implemented many security features which ensure all transactions are secured, fully protected and kept private. All information collected for transactions are kept private and will not be shared, sold, or rented to any individual, entity or private company. NOTICE: Transactions completed on-line do not constitute a valid registration and/or payment. In order to have a valid transaction, the on-line transaction must be validated by the Tax Collector's office. On-line transactions will be validated in the Tax Collector's office the next work day, following your on-line entry, prior to 5:00 P.M. and the receipt/renewal will be mailed to you the following work day.
