Welcome to the Hernando County Port Authority

The Hernando County Port Authority is a five member board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County. Members are appointed for a period of four years.

The Hernando County Port Authority Board holds monthly meetings at the Hernando Beach Recreation Building, located at 6340 Shoal Line Blvd. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  All interested citizens are encouraged to attend these informative meetings.

Port Authority News & Notices August 2010 Port Authority Meeting           Posted 7/21/2010       The Hernando County Port Authority Board will meet on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Linda Pedersen Park at Jenkins Creek Recreation Building, 6340 Shoal Line Blvd., Hernando Beach. The Port Authority Board meets the first Wednesday of every month. Members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to review and make recommendations on boating and waterway related issues in Hernando County. Included on the agenda for discussion at this meeting are the Hernando Beach Dredge Project and Artificial Reefs.
