Habitats / Breeding Sites
Mosquitoes can breed practically ANYWHERE .... anywhere there's water.
When you think mosquitoes, you think water. If you've already read the section on Mosquito Biology, then you have a fairly good understanding of the mosquito's life cycle, egg to adult. You also know, then, that certain species of mosquitoes lay their eggs on the water's surface, while others lay their eggs on dry surfaces in anticipation of future rains.
Following is a short lesson on where YOU can look for mosquitoes around your house, and where WE look throughout the county.

Once again, it's important to remember that ALMOST ANYTHING CAN BREED MOSQUITOES, as long as it has a small amount of water standing in it.
Doing weekly checks of your property and dumping out standing water can greatly reduce your chances of self-inflicted mosquito breeding !!
AND, by eliminating breeding around your house and property, you help reduce the number of service requests we receive, which gives our technicians more time to search for and treat those breeding sites that only they can get to !!
