County Administrator


The County Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. It is the responsibility of the County Administrator to effectively implement all decisions, policies, ordinances and motions made by the Board of County Commissioners. The County Administrator performs these responsibilities through the various department directors and administrative personnel, who report directly to the County Administrator.

Activities of the County Administrator's Office Include:

  • Administration of BCC Departments
  • Annual Report
  • Preparation of weekly Commission meeting agendas
  • Resolutions & ordinances
  • Special events permits
