FEE SCHEDULE CHANGES

On April 27, 2010, the BCC adopted a new Building department fee schedule. The new fees will be implemented in two phases, the first phase becoming effective on June 1, 2010.
Applications submitted on or after this date will be subject to the new fees.
Through July 30, 2010, contracts signed prior to June 1, 2010 will be honored at the old rate provided a copy of the contract is submitted with the application.

The 2008 National Electric Code becomes effective in the State of Florida on Oct. 1, 2009. All applications submitted for permitting on or after Oct. 1, 2009, must comply with this code, and compliance must be reflected on the plans.

REDUCTION OF IMPACT FEES EXTENDED TO NOVEMBER 30, 2011

Please note that on November 9, 2010, the BCC voted to extend the reduction of impact fees to November 30, 2011.

Residential and Commercial Permits issued between December 1, 2009 through November 30, 2010 will be calculated at the 2001 impact fee rates.
