**IMPORTANT**
FEE SCHEDULE CHANGES

UPDATE!  Phase II of the Hernando County Building Department Fee Schedule becomes effective June 1, 2011 for all applications submitted on or after this date. Phase II applies to Groups I, II, III, and IV as listed in the Fee Schedule.

On April 27, 2010, the BCC adopted a new Building department fee schedule. The new fees will be implemented in two phases, the first phase becoming effective on June 1, 2010.
Applications submitted on or after this date will be subject to the new fees.
Through July 30, 2010, contracts signed prior to June 1, 2010 will be honored at the old rate provided a copy of the contract is submitted with the application.

"ATTENTION CONTRACTORS"
The 2008 National Electric Code becomes effective in the State of Florida on Oct. 1, 2009. All applications submitted for permitting on or after Oct. 1, 2009, must comply with this code, and compliance must be reflected on the plans.
